Rebuild, Rediscover & Recover
Surfside Admissions Process
Life with Surfside in Ventnor, NJ allows participants to tap into the necessary skills to navigate life again as honorable men in society. As peers on the recovery journey, we strive to mentor these individuals in our small community setting. Keep reading to learn more about scheduling an admission.

The Admission Process
Potential Surfside applicants will complete a thorough phone assessment and interview to determine if we’re a good fit for one another. As a close-knit, supportive community, we take care to ensure that Surfside will enhance a person’s recovery. Just like a pair of shoes, the Surfside approach may “fit” the needs of one person while being not quite right for someone else. This process allows all parties involved to explore this.
Whenever possible, our Admissions Coordinator will speak with the family prior to screening the applicant. This allows us to discuss Surfside, answer any questions, address concerns regarding the admissions process, and gain clarity about family history/past treatment episodes/co-occuring issues, etc.
After the family phone call, we will schedule a phone screening with the applicant. We are always happy to connect potential families with alumni families who can share openly about their experience with Surfside.

Admissions calls will be taken from 7am-9pm EST, seven days a week.
