Established in late 2021, Mount Surfside is a retreat house nestled on a 10-acre property in Andover, VT.

Located on Terrible Mountain, just outside of downtown Weston, VT, small groups of Surfside participants venture up to New England once monthly to experience everything the four seasons have to offer: skiing, snowboarding, hiking, cliff-jumping, and a wealth of AA history. Southern Vermont is the home of Bill Wilson, AA’s co-founder, and it’s always an incredible experience to visit his family home and final resting place in East Dorset, VT.

    Camp Surfside is our own men’s adventure park, situated on 11.5 acres. It’s home to Surfside’s paintball field and private campsite.

    Our non-clinical approach to sustaining sobriety acknowledges that many folks require off-site services to heal the full person. We encourage the use of community partners to offer wraparound clinical and medical services, creating an integrated approach to addiction recovery.

  • Saltwater Athletics

    This is Surfside’s state-of-the-art CrossFit Gym & Fitness Center. A 6,500+ square foot facility offering residents the opportunity to train 6 days/week.
